| Personnel Elizabeth Eden and her partner, Elizabeth Cook, founded Reserve Inc. in 1996, leaving Dean Witter to build a truly independent investment consulting firm, with no financial ties to the traditional brokerage, banking or insurance industries. During Beth's twelve-year tenure at Dean Witter she served as a Senior Vice President, Branch Manager/Midwest Region, and supervised five offices and the management of over twenty billion dollars in assets. Beth's experience at Dean Witter as well as her prior experience at Shearson/American Express and Merrill Lynch gave her the strong management foundation required to build a new kind of firm in a heavily regulated industry. Large Institutions have always hired investment consulting firms to help them manage their financial resources. In 2002 the firm name was changed to Diastole Wealth Management. Liz and Beth believe that impartial consultants should be available to small institutions individuals as well. Elizabeth Cook, the chief Financial Officer of Diastole Wealth Management, is a native of Old Saybrook, bringing the firm to her home town at its inception. This rural location with its proximity to New York City's financial center as well as numerous airports makes it a wonderful hub for reaching clients all over the country. For the last twenty years Liz has been instrumental in the growth development of an institutional-quality consulting program for smaller institutions and high net worth individuals. |
